At Modern Rentals, we take pride in providing premium event rentals and services that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Our Warranty Policy ensures peace of mind when you rent from us.
Scope of Warranty
Modern Rentals warrants that all rental items will be delivered in good, clean, and usable condition, free from significant defects or damage that would interfere with their intended purpose. This warranty applies solely to the duration of the rental period, as agreed upon in your rental contract.
Coverage
Our warranty covers:
- Delivery Issues: Items damaged during delivery or missing from your order will be replaced or substituted at no additional cost.
- Product Functionality: If any item does not work as intended (e.g., lighting, equipment, or furniture), we will repair, replace, or refund based on availability.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling by clients or event attendees.
- Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not impact functionality (e.g., slight scratches, scuffs).
- Issues arising after installation or setup have been approved.
- Any third-party items or services not provided directly by Modern Rentals.
Client Responsibility
- Clients must inspect items upon delivery and notify us immediately of any issues.
- All items must be returned in their original condition, aside from normal wear.
- Damaged or lost items caused by misuse will result in replacement or repair charges.
Claims Process
If you identify an issue with a rental item upon delivery or during the event:
- Notify our team immediately by contacting info@modernrentals.ca
- Provide photographic evidence of the issue for assessment.
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the item.
Modern Rentals will take one of the following actions, at our discretion:
- Replace the Item: A replacement will be provided, subject to availability.
- Repair the Item: On-site repairs may be arranged if possible.
- Provide a Partial Refund or Credit: If neither replacement nor repair is feasible, a partial refund or rental credit will be issued.
Limitation of Liability
Modern Rentals’ liability under this warranty is limited to the value of the rental fee for the affected items. We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to event delays, loss of revenue, or emotional distress resulting from rental issues.
